    October, 2006 -- Stephen Giannetti's painting on display at The Affair @ The Jupiter in Portland, OR was singled out by art critic Brian Libby as "one of the fair's most stunning works." The review appears in the October 2 issue of The Oregonian. In addition, art critic Richard Speer called James Gobel's paintings "among the fair's most memorable works." His review appears in the October 4 issue of Willamette Week. Finally, art critic Laura Richard Janku tabbed David Hevel's work as "another outré highlight" in the October 1 online edition of artinfo.com.

    January, 2006 -- Our Histories exhibition was featured in the January edition of KQED Channel 9's Gallery Crawl. The video was produced by Mark Taylor and Marie K. Lee.

     

    January, 2006 -- Libby Black and David Hevel are both prominently mentioned in art critic Stephanie Cash's Report from San Francisco article, which appears in the January issue of Art in America magazine. Cash identifies Black's Kate Spade Store as one of the "notable works" in Bay Area Now 4, and also praises Hevel's "festively macabre sculptures."

    February, 2005 -- The Superfly Effect, currently on view at the Jersey City Museum, has received two very nice reviews including gallery artist Libby Black. Her work in the exhibition was mentioned in the February 6 edition of the New York Times and the Sunday Star-Ledger.

     

    February, 2005 -- Michael Arcega's incredible and impressive El Conquistadork, currently on view in the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts' Big Deal exhibition, has received a pile of great local press.     December, 2004 -- The recent opening of the 2004 California Biennial at the Orange County Museum of Art has resulted in tremendous press for gallery artist Libby Black. A reproduction of her Burberry Skateboard appeared in the October 10 issue of the Los Angeles Times, and her work was also mentioned in the Orange County Register as well as the New York Times.     November, 2004 -- Gallery artists Davis & Davis' recent exhibition was mentioned in an article by Arts and Culture critic Steven Winn that appeared in the November 17 edition of the San Francisco Chronicle.
